I studied Applied Physics at the University of Limerick, developing a grounding in experimental methods, instrumentation, and the kind of rigorous problem-solving that comes from working with real physical systems rather than purely theoretical ones.
Since graduating I've built and maintained production web applications for commercial clients across Ireland. My most substantial project to date is Superior CRM — a multi-tenant contractor ERP platform I designed and built from scratch, currently in commercial deployment with a paying client.
I'm drawn to roles where the work is genuinely technical, where there are real systems to understand and improve, and where precision matters. I'm available for roles requiring travel.
Multi-tenant contractor ERP/CRM platform built from scratch and deployed commercially for an Irish insulation contractor. Covers client pipeline, inventory, ISO 9001 compliance, scheduling, quoting, and work orders. Includes a map-based desktop survey tool using satellite imagery and geometric calculations to estimate wall and floor areas.
Water quality monitoring and member management platform deployed for Charlestown Swimming Pool. Includes digital log systems, GDPR-compliant data handling, offline capability via service workers, and a hardened security configuration.
Investigated the effects of external factors on the efficiency of the charge/ discharge cycle of a vanadium flow battery, changing flow rate and concentration individually to find relationships between them. The data was collected through a multimeter connected to LabVIEW on a computer and exported to a USB. The infomation was then imported to an Excel sheet, graphed and analysed.
Customer-facing website deployed for Superior Insulations with an enquiry form that allows submission of pictures, emails the enquiry to the office and inserts it as an enquiry into the CRM using an API key. Allowing the admin to upload blogs and job vaccancies.
Public website for a Simmental cattle breeding business in Co. Sligo. Cattle listings system, Spaces image management, transactional email, PostgreSQL backend. Deployed on DigitalOcean with a custom domain.
A program integrated with Anthtopics API key to tailor CV to job better suit the job description and give a full cover letter for that job while following hardcoded prompts to adjust to the users style, job market, etc.
